Hayley & Roger and the team were amazing. Property on the market for around 2 weeks when we got our first offer. Very professional. Not only dis they take on selling our house, they went out there way in helping us find and secure our new family home too. Would highly recommend this team of absolute professionals. Lewis Oliver have been a fantastic estate agents in the selling of my 1st home! I have been fully kept involved with any updates and I highly recommended them. This was the first time that I had sold a house so wasn’t sure what to expect from an estate agent so with that in mind here is some of my anecdotal evidence from my experience.

The sales rep that dealt with the initial sale seemed relatively knowledgable and presented himself in a nice way gaining my confidence and trust in their ability to sell our house. The photos that were taken showed our home off in a great light and also assisted in gaining a lot of attention in the first period of the sale.

On a few occasions the rep that was dealing with the viewings was either late meaning I had to deal with customers until they arrived, with no contact or warning of their punctuation or lack there of. Or we received bookings with very little warning expecting myself or my wife to be in at the drop of a hat whilst we both held down full time jobs. On one occasion I was required to make a 5 mile trip to drop off keys to the agent at my door as they hadn’t brought the ones from the office.

Granted this sale went through at the end of the first COVID 19 lockdown however these issues should not have really been exacerbated by this as it was mainly a social distancing requirement that needed to be met.

Lewis Oliver did sell our house within 6-8 weeks but we did sit in a chain of only us, and 2 other people, our buyer and our seller for nearly 3 months chasing things up.

Overall the service was ok and the house was sold but it didn’t come come without it’s problems.

First time we used Lewis Oliver in 2015 the experience was good.

It wasn’t second time round. We had over 10 viewings, where on several occasions the agents were late and rushed people round the home. When we eventually did get a buyer, they pulled out.

After three months we moved to another agent and has one viewing and an immediate sale for more money.
